Black Friday ticket sales surge 26% over 2025 as fans gear up for March 25–29, 2026
Vancouver, B.C. – The 2026 Vancouver International Auto Show is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated automotive events in Western Canada’s history, with organizers announcing today that all 300,000 square feet of available exhibitor floor space has officially sold out!
This year’s show will span the full Exhibition Halls, select displays on Level 1, and an expanded outdoor presence on Jack Poole Plaza, marking one of the largest footprints in the event’s 100-plus-year legacy.
But the excitement doesn’t stop at capacity crowds in the halls. The Auto Show confirms that several major automotive brands, absent in recent years, will be making their long-awaited returns in 2026. Organizers will be revealing the first major returning manufacturer next week, kicking off a series of high-profile announcements leading up to the Show’s opening.
“Our floor plan filled faster than any year in recent memory,” says Vancouver Auto Show Executive Director Eric Nicholl. “Manufacturers, dealers, and partners clearly see the momentum behind the Vancouver Auto Show, and the energy is building. With major brands returning, a maxed-out EV Test Drive fleet of 50-vehicles, and more than 30 participating manufacturers, we’re elevating this event to an entirely new level.”
The return of top-tier brands is one of several indicators of renewed enthusiasm from both industry participants and consumers. The Show’s limited Black Friday ticket release saw a 26% increase in early ticket sales over 2025.
“This response tells us we’re not just back, we’re growing,” Nicholl adds. “The appetite for a world-class automotive experience in B.C. has never been stronger.”
