Where is the entrance and location to the Auto Show?
The entrance is off Thurlow Street and through the main doors situated at the corner of Thurlow and Jack Poole Plaza. The Auto Show is located at Vancouver Convention Centre West, 1055 Canada Place.
Where can I park?
The Auto Show is located at 1055 Canada Place. Parking is available in and near the Vancouver Convention Centre. While parking in Vancouver can be challenging, there’s ample options and for full information on parking options, please visit here.
Is there a coat check at the event?
Coat check service will be available near the show floor entrance. Cost is $5 and covers the cost of storing one coat and one umbrella. Coat check can be purchased online with an event ticket. As an added bonus, online purchases will receive a souvenir cell phone lens kit at the event valued at over $8. Learn more.
Is child care available?
Unfortunately, no, there is no childcare anticipated to be available on site for 2025. Should this change, we’ll update this FAQ accordingly.
How can I reserve a wheelchair?
The Vancouver Convention Centre has a limited amount of wheelchairs. Sign-out is on first-come first-serve basis. There is a fee of $10.00 with picture ID as a deposit. Wheelchairs are available at the West Information Desk (1055 Canada Place). Please make your inquiry with the ambassador on location upon your arrival.
Can I leave and come back?
Yes, same day re-entry is permitted. Ensure you receive a hand stamp before exiting. Entry is through the Thurlow Street entrance, off the Jack Poole Plaza. The exit is through the Burrard Street entrance.
Are cameras and videos allowed?
Yes, photos and videos are permitted for personal use.
Can I bring a backpack?
While bags and backpacks are permitted, they may be searched by security at the entrance.
Are pets allowed in the Show?
Facility rules prohibit pets from entering the building, unless they are service animals.
Is there somewhere onsite to have a meal?
The Convention Centre has food and beverage service onsite in the exhibit pre-function space. There are also several restaurants, fast food outlets and pubs that surround the Vancouver Convention Centre.
Can I bring my own food/beverages into the Show?
Facility rules prohibit outside food and beverages.

Ticketing & Payment
Can I come on a different day than I purchased my ticket for?
Absolutely! If you purchased a weekday ticket and want to attend on Saturday or Sunday, we will simply charge you the ticket difference at the door. However, if you purchased a ticket for Saturday or Sunday and want to come on a weekday, the ticket is still valid, but we cannot refund the difference. We look forward to welcoming you to the Vancouver Auto Show!
How much are tickets and how can I purchase them?
Ticket prices for each day are located on the Buy Tickets page. We encourage online purchase to avoid any onsite lines. Tickets may be purchased onsite, during Show hours.
Is there free admission for children?
Yes, for children aged 6 and under when accompanied by a paying adult.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash, credit, and debit are accepted onsite. Visa and MasterCard are accepted online.
Will I have to print out my tickets?
A barcode will be generated and can be scanned from your phone when you purchase online. You are not required to print the ticket.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds will not be issued.
Are there ATMs where I can get cash?
Please note that there are no ATMs at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The closest ATM is located inside the Waterfront Centre food court beside Tim Hortons or near the Fairmont Hotel.
I see there’s a Student Discount Ticket. What’s the eligible age?
Yes, there’s a Student Discount ticket with VALID Student ID. There’s no age limit. Weekday Admission (Wednesday–Thursday) is $17.50 and Weekend Admission (Friday–Sunday) is $18.50. Purchase tickets here
What is the eligible age for Seniors’ tickets?
The eligible age is 65 years and older. Tickets are $17.50 Weekday Admission (Wednesday–Thursday) and $18.50 Weekend Admission (Friday–Sunday). Purchase tickets here.

Are there hotel discounts available for VIAS attendees?
Each year the Vancouver International Auto Show partners with hotels around the Convention Centre to make it easy for you to attend the Show and visit Vancouver’s beautiful downtown area. To secure preferred rates, attendees are encouraged to book early.

Where can I test drive vehicles?
Test drives are available to Auto Show attendees. Please visit the Test Drive page for more info. *Drivers must all have Class 5 licenses (with no restrictions) and must be age 21+.
Can I purchase cars/accessories at the Show?
You are not able to physically purchase a vehicle at the Show. However, you may connect with a salesperson and complete the sale at a dealership. Vehicle accessories and services are available for purchase in the Commercial Marketplace and at various exhibitor booths throughout the Show.
Where can I see the floor plan and manufacturer listing?
Copies of the Official Show Guide will be available at the Ticketing Centre with floor plans and manufacturer (OEM) listings. A digital version of the floor plan will be available in early March.
I am researching various vehicles for purchase. Will I be hassled by a salesperson?
