A History of Racing in B.C.

The Sports Car Club of BC (SCCBC) and the BC Vintage Racing Club (VRCBC) have been organising road racing since the 50s at Westwood Motorsport Park, and at Mission since 1991. In addition to the major BC Historic Race Weekend, there are seven SCCBC/VRCBC race weekends running through the summer months with two SCCBC driver schools each year.

When race fans are out at the Mission track they get an opportunity to meet the drivers and enjoy the excitement of motorsport at its best. At this year’s Vancouver Auto Show, guests can catch a glimpse of history, get information on the clubs, and learn about the coming season race schedules.
