For Immediate Release
Vancouver, B.C. – Fresh off another record-setting year, organizers of the Vancouver International Auto Show (VIAS) are excited to announce that the 2026 edition of Western Canada’s largest automotive event will return to the Vancouver Convention Centre West from March 25 to 29, 2026.
This announcement follows the overwhelming success of the 2025 Auto Show, which saw 138,773 attendees pass through the doors, surpassing last year’s total of 129,033 and setting a new single-day attendance record of 42,761 visitors on Saturday. The show’s continued growth highlights the increasing appetite for cutting-edge automotive innovation, electric mobility, and engaging family-friendly experiences.
“We are thrilled to confirm the 2026 dates and build on the incredible momentum we’ve experienced over the past two years,” said Blair Qualey, President and CEO of the New Car Dealers Association of BC (NCDA), which owns and operates the event. “With another record-breaking year behind us, we’re already focused on raising the bar again in 2026.”
The 2025 show featured over 30 world-class brands, exciting Canadian and Western Canadian vehicle debuts, and a record-breaking EV and PHEV Test Drive Experience powered by BC Hydro, and sponsored by CleanBC Go Electric, RBC, ICBC, EmotiveBC, and Plug n Drive. The event offered attendees the opportunity to get behind the wheel of 41 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles from 16 top manufacturers.
“The Vancouver Auto Show continues to be the leading automotive showcase for Western Canada,” said Eric Nicholl, Executive Director of the Vancouver International Auto Show. “We can’t wait to welcome back our passionate community next March for an even more dynamic and immersive experience.”
