From 2015 to 2019, the show experienced significant growth—expanding into both levels of the Vancouver Convention Centre and drawing over 115,000 attendees annually. In 2019, VIAS became the first consumer event to fully occupy both levels of the Convention Centre, a milestone in our industry.
Following a four-year hiatus due to the global pandemic, VIAS returned in March 2024 with unprecedented success, welcoming a record-breaking 129,034 attendees. And in 2025? VIAS broke nearly every record it had with 138,773 attendees over the 5-day event, buoyed by a record-breaking single-day attendance on Saturday (42,761 visitors), and 4,424 EV Test Drive executions.
It’s clear: the Vancouver Auto Show has redefined what consumers expect from an auto show.
So—what’s next? We’re driving forward with a bold vision:
- A wider range of manufacturers and specialty showcases,
- More supercars and exotics,
- An expanded and more immersive EV Test Drive experience.
The Vancouver Auto Show is no longer just an event—it’s a destination. A celebration of innovation, design, and the future of driving in B.C.
VIAS is charting a new course. Join us on the journey.
Auto shows continue to offer an intense and personal opportunity unlike any other strategic marketing event. Each year, the auto show experience grows in popularity and scale. But today’s auto shows are more than a good time.
It is here where consumers seek to expedite their fact finding and close the information loop by learning about—and, in some cases, driving—the incredible variety of vehicles available at some 65 auto shows across North America.
